Lublin Summer Festivals - Poland

Lublin is one of Poland's most popular regions during the summer.  While many make the journey to the area just to see its authentic Old Town , it is also home to four unique festivals, as part of the celebrations for Lubin's 700th anniversary. And best of all ages can enjoy these festivals for free! Between 3 - 4 June , there's the Night Culture, where 300 events take place all over town. Interesting street installations and rooftop concerts are just a few things you might encounter. Then there's East of Culture. Different Sounds. Fjardlang och Myggskaren - Sweden

Fjardlang - the site for adventure Fjardlang is a nature reserve.  The varied archipelago landscape unexploited and the site is ideal for hiking. You can, for example, explore the highest lookout area, 36 metres above sea level. The island is perfect for families. There is a small shallow beach by the harbour and you can  go swimming from breathtaking cliffs around the island.  You can rent fishing rods, kayak and rowing boats.  The island boasts fields of mushroom and berries, as well as a rich wildlife. You can travel to Fjardlang with cruisers during the day or you can stay at a youth hostel, cottages or in tents.  Here you will also find summer cafes and kiosks. Kymmendo - Sweden

Kymmendo - the thriving archipelago island.  Kymmendo ia a privately-owned island and has been in the same family since 1802.  Kymmendo is an important part of the Swedish cultural heritage.  The author August Strindberg spent several summers here and his novel " Hemsoborna" (the People of Hemso) depicts the people and the archipelago setting of the island.  Order guided tours about Strindberg as a summer guest on the island and see his writing cottage.
