Dalaro  - a gem from the seaside resort era. Dalaro is the pilot and customs society which later became an idyllic seaside resort.  A well preserved gem, with ornate narrow gravel streets and houses with gingerbread work. The settlement is of national interest. One of the summer visitors, the Swedish author August Strindberg, coined the concept ' the gates to Paradise'. Sailing , kayak, diving, wakeboard and R.I.B. adventures are ideal for those who enjoy sports. The surrounding waters are famous for their wrecks.  In " Tullhuset" a grand stone house from the 18th century, there is a museum., shop, cafe and tourist agency.  Here you can book historic hiking and dry diving trips to the wrecks.
